- Promoting Volunteerism for UN Response Efforts in Libya through social media
- Volunteers play a pivotal role in facilitating the engagement of Libyan individuals with the UN system, aiding Libya in mitigating the impact of the floods on affected communities.
- Your task is to support the UN Volunteers Programme (UNV) in disseminating the upcoming Livestream invitations, and sharing volunteer assignments on various social media platforms to encourage prospective candidates to join the UNV Talent Pool.

Task description:
- We are currently seeking the assistance of five Online Volunteers to bolster our efforts in promoting volunteering opportunities in Libya and attracting a diverse pool of candidates to support UN response initiatives.Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and suggesting job portals and relevant social media groups in Libya that cater to individuals with backgrounds in health (with a focus on Mental health) and nutrition and other areas such as:• Early recovery field coordinators• WASH• Child protection
• Protection
• Food security
• Logistics
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Reporting
• Communication
- Disseminating UNV’s live stream webinars messages and content within the identified portals and groups.
- Reporting to UNV regarding the most commonly asked questions that you encounter while engaging with potential candidates;.
- Actively participating in the live stream events.
- Your diligent record-keeping of dissemination efforts will enable us to continue on the work you started.
Requirements :
- Proven skills in communications, social media, health, and Human resources.
- Experience in talent acquisition is an added advantage.
- Active membership in job portals in Libya and Tunisia is considered an asset.
