Why did people stop migrating to Australia and start moving to the US, Canada and Europe?
Because of this:
- Ridiculously expensive. Why Australia’s still the world’s most expensive place to live Everything is money in Australia. Nothing is “free”.
- No jobs because is ridiculously expensive and companies are sending jobs to cheaper places.
- There is a massive amount of qualified people in the market without job, so recruiters have a lot of people where to choose from. So they treat applicants like “comodities”, and always choose the ones that can give them a fast and easy profit.
- Australians won´t let migrants get better job positions, doesn´t matter your experience or qualifications. That´s why so many people with degrees and Masters are doing low paid/standard jobs like cleaning to survive.
- Unemployment and Underemployment is growing and the money that the government gives them is not enough to cover basic needs.
- Nepotism in all the ways possible to apply to any position. That is the 80% of jobs that are not advertised and supposed to get by “networking”. The other 20% announced is already given to a current employee of the organisation, and is only announced to comply with the law.
- All the employers over-exploit their employees. You have to do the job of 5 people at least to be a profitable worker. Get used to be abused and humiliated.
- Voluntary Work = Slave Work that you have to do for free for an unlimited time for an a organisation that gets profit on your work , just to get work experience and MAYBE, if you beg enough and they like you, they MIGHT hire you. Even some people have to pay 1000 AUD to be allowed inside.
- Not all the Australians are friendly. A lot of them are presumptuous and really hate the foreigners.
- The food quality is bad and expensive. The fruit looks nice but with no natural taste. A lot of sugar in the processed food. The meat cuts are with a lot of fat. Is very difficult to find bread that doesn´t feel like chewing gum after been baked.
- Everything closes early.
- Unless you are form Asia, is far from everywhere.
- Customer Care is awful!
- Basic service providers, like electricians an plumbers for example, can rip you off for jobs bad done.
- Australian Migration Rules are so complicated because they are set to take your money. They don´t care if you get a job or not, if you stay or you go, if you live or die, as long as you leave your money in Australia.
- The so called “universal health care” covers some basic stuff for only Permanent Residents and Citizens, but you have to pay everything else, like the ambulance services.
- The education system lags well behind other countries and is ranked 39 out of 41 high- and middle-income countries . Bullying is a common issue.
- Most of Australians avoid any uncomfortable truth that does not support their pink fantasy, long gone, that Australia still is “The Lucky Country”. They start whining and shouting that if you don´t blindly adore Australia, you must return to your country. It´s very funny.
