Description :
- Company are currently looking for individuals with a passion for adventure travel to join our team in Financial Assistant roles full-time for an immediate start.
Responsibilities :
- Customer payments are entered into the reservation and content management system (TourCMS) and the financial/accounting system (Xero).
- Supplier invoices/proformas are entered into the accounting system and cross-referenced with the values already loaded in the reservation system.
- Discrepancies in supplier costs/invoices are identified and resolved by liaising with internal adventure specialists and external suppliers.
- Supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and promptly.
- Supplier remittances are sent.
- Overdue customer payments are tracked, and collaboration with adventure specialists ensures timely collection of customer balances.
- Reconciliations are conducted for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Supplier details are updated in the accounting and reservation system.
- Customer refunds are processed.
- Collaboration with sales and operations teams is carried out to enhance and streamline payment and cost processes.
- Cooperation with the products team is maintained to pre-load tour costs and sale prices in TourCMS.
Requirements :
- Having prior experience in a travel company and familiarity with finance administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable/accounts receivable would be highly advantageous.
- Possessing a keen eye for detail and strong administrative skills.
- Demonstrating excellent numerical abilities.
- Having exceptional proficiency in Excel.
- Being capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines to fulfill various objectives.
- Being able to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Being efficient and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
- Showing a willingness to go above and beyond for customers, colleagues, suppliers, and the company.
- Displaying a friendly demeanor and upholding a high standard of integrity.
